Bridport Under Eights entertained Weymouth Cougars in what was there hardest game yet,

In a close contest each side gave very little away, once again the defencive pairing of Dilion Obrien and Toby Pattemore kept the cougars forward line at bay.

Going forward Bridport look creative with Finlay Cauldwell and Zac Harrison causing problems for the cougars defence.

Most pleasing from the game Bridport kept a good shape thourghout and never stopped working in very hot conditions .

U8 - Portland United vs Bridport Youth

Bridport travelled to Portland for there latest game and settled into a controlled display creating several good chances early on. Toby Pattemore and Dillion Obrien in defence gave nothing away leaving Bridport keeper Jay Collins a mere spectator for large parts of the game.

In the second half Bridport continued were they left of in the first, keeping a good shape throughout the team and creating more good goal scoring chances, Tom Kilcoyne missing from last weeks game was once more a threat up front with his direct football.

Bridport entertained Dorchester at Beaminster memorial ground for there first home game of the season.
In a tight first half Bridport were unluckly on serveral occasions with Dorchester defenders blocking good chances and their keeper pulling off a very good save.

Bridport started confidently and played some nice football at times.  The midfield of Finley Cauldwell, Mannie Wellman ,Harry Cortice and Oliver Hansford-Harvey all linked well together in the midfield creating several good chances with Tom Kilcoyne always a threat up front.

We will start our league campaign in Dorset Mini Soccer league Group A
